  I had Bryan work on a variety of legal issues for me. He modified my loan to a 3 percent fixed rate, and then helped me file bankruptcy. He is now helping me with a minor family law issue. Bryan is by far the best attorney in Ventura County. His rates have also been reasonable and he always makes me feel like I am his No. 1 client. I had a variable rate loan that adjusted and fell behind on payments. When I initially saw Bryan, I told him I wanted to walk away from it all. I was defeated, depressed, and simply wanted it all to go away. Bryan would not allow me to give up, and helped me redraft my loan. The loan is now affordable and I stayed in my home, which has been my home for over 10 years. I have Bryan to thank for this all. Once my loan was modified, he helped me file for bankruptcy. I must say the process was smooth, and once again Bryan was there to guide me through the process. The BK discharged without any issues. At the court hearing, Bryan had other clients and each case cleared without a problem. Bryan is now helping me with a family law issue and I wouldn't trust anyone but Bryan with such a sensitive matter. Thank you Bryan for making my life better, easier and productive.   I hope others don't make the same mistake I did. Only after I met with Mr. Diaz did I discover that he was suspended from the practice of law for six months. He is a nice guy and seems sincere. His service seems fine. But I am worried that I trusted him with information about me, my work, and my life. I encourage others to look into the discipline record of attorneys before hiring them. Attorney records are available on the California Bar website. When you hire an attorney, you really need to rely on them. I just didn't feel good about having trusted him and then discovering this information after the fact.

  I really didn't like a moment of working with him. He got the job done but was unpleasant, slow to respond, and even forgot to come to one of the hearings with the trustee. Another attorney volunteered to represent me because she knew him but then there was confusion on whether I even had a hearing that day. He doesn't know the law well and just seems to make it up as he goes along. I don't feel like you can trust him. He has told me things that just weren't true. I also looked up his discipline record with the state bar now that I saw it below and it is true. He had quite an incident over honesty. His practice of law just isn't up to the level I'd expect and I hope he changes to be more straightforward and trustworthy. If he claims I wasn't a client, think about how you'd feel writing about your bankruptcy in public.
